The first and most awaited project in chennai ,it was started in 2005 apr stating that this project would be completed in 2007 mar but still now it was not completed.
This project comes under goldin quadrilateral project which was started in previous regime.The drawback for the delay are many like land acquisation,heavy traffic etc, the other important fact is that they were built in a traditional manner without using sophisticated construction techniques,nearly 500 workers are working day and night to complete this project within this year.If this projectgets completed,it will be boon to guindy and surrounding areas and the time taken from adyar to meenambakkam will be just 20 minutes
